Our refund policy for IPO Guruji API subscription plans.

1. Overview

IPO Guruji is a subscription-based API service. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued for our paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

We encourage all users to evaluate the Service using our free tier before committing to a paid plan.

2. Subscription Model

Our paid plans operate on a monthly subscription basis:

  • Subscriptions are billed at the beginning of each billing cycle
  • All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST)

3. Free Tier

IPO Guruji offers a permanent free tier that allows you to evaluate the Service before subscribing to a paid plan. The free tier includes:

  • 10 API requests per minute
  • 100 API requests per day
  • Access to basic IPO data endpoints
  • Full access to documentation and developer tools

We strongly recommend using the free tier to test the API, verify data quality, and confirm that the Service meets your requirements before upgrading to a paid plan. The free tier is available indefinitely and does not require a credit card.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
  • You retain full access to your paid features until the billing period ends
  • After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the free tier
  • Your API keys remain active but subject to free tier rate limits
  • Your account data, usage history, and webhook configurations are preserved

4.3 No Partial Period Refunds

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused time remaining in the current billing period. For example, if you cancel on day 15 of a monthly subscription, you retain access for the remaining days but will not receive a prorated refund.

5. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

5.1 Eligible for Refund

  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error
  • Service outage: If the Service was unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours during your billing period due to issues on our end (not including scheduled maintenance announced in advance)
  • Billing errors: If you were charged after successfully cancelling your subscription before the renewal date
  • First-time subscribers: If you are a first-time paid subscriber and request a refund within 7 days of your initial subscription, provided you have made fewer than 500 API requests on the paid plan

5.2 Not Eligible for Refund

  • Cancellations after the first 7 days of a billing cycle (for ongoing subscribers)
  • Dissatisfaction with data quality that could have been evaluated on the free tier
  • Failure to cancel before the auto-renewal date
  • Account suspension or termination due to Terms of Service violations
  • Downgrade to a lower plan (the new rate applies from the next billing cycle)
  • Changes in your business requirements or use case

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to support@ipoguruji.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include the following information in your email:
    • Your registered email address
    • Your subscription plan name
    • The billing period for which you are requesting a refund
    • The reason for your refund request
    • Any relevant transaction IDs or payment references from Razorpay
  3. Our support team will review your request and respond within 3 business days

7. Refund Processing

If your refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed through Razorpay and credited to your original payment method
  • Processing time is typically 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider
  • You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated
  • The refund amount will be the full subscription amount for the eligible billing period, exclusive of any taxes already remitted to authorities

8. Enterprise Plan

Enterprise plan subscribers may have custom billing and refund terms as specified in their individual agreement. If you are on an Enterprise plan:

  • Refer to your specific service agreement for refund and cancellation terms
  • Custom payment schedules (quarterly, annual) may be available
  • Early termination terms are defined in your individual agreement
  • Contact your dedicated account manager or enterprise@ipoguruji.com for assistance

9. Disputes

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your refund request, you may escalate the matter by:

  1. Contacting our support team at support@ipoguruji.com for a secondary review
  2. Raising a dispute with Razorpay through their dispute resolution process
  3. Contacting your bank or payment provider to initiate a chargeback (note: unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension)

We are committed to resolving all billing disputes fairly and promptly. Most issues can be resolved through direct communication with our support team.
